MRS Names Ken Howard Senior VP of Business Development;
Perry Ankerson Will Become President of Thorco Industries
(Dec. 14, 2005) - Kenneth Howard, longtime president of Thorco Industries,
Inc., has been appointed senior vice president of business development for
Marmon Retail Services, effective Jan. 1, 2006. Perry Ankerson will succeed
Mr. Howard as Thorco president. Both appointments were announced by Richard
Winter, president of Marmon Retail Services LLC.
Mr. Howard will coordinate joint sales activities and strategy of Marmon
Retail Services companies in North America. "We're excited about how this
new position will benefit our customers," Mr. Winter said. "Together, MRS
companies can meet virtually any need for store equipment and services.
Ken will focus on the many opportunities to bring the complete range of
our resources to bear on solutions for our customers." Mr. Howard has
served as president of Thorco since 1967 and is a former owner of the
company. "Ken's experience and knowledge of the store fixture industry
is unsurpassed," Mr. Winter added.
Mr. Ankerson, who joined Thorco in 2002, is being promoted from vice
president and general manager. "I couldn't be more pleased that Perry
will be leading Thorco as president and building on the company's
tradition of excellence," Mr. Winter said. Mr. Howard will serve as
Thorco vice chairman, continuing to provide guidance to the organization.
Based in Lamar, Missouri, Thorco manufactures custom store fixtures in
wire and metal.

Alexander-Otto Joins Marmon Retail Services
(July 6, 2005) - Alexander-Otto Company, LLC, a provider of retail store
fixture installation and related services, has joined Marmon Retail
Services. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Based in Grand Junction, Colorado, Alexander-Otto installs and services
fixtures, displays and commercial millwork in a wide range of
environments including retail and food-service markets. Services are
provided by more than 50 crews that are strategically located to cover
the continental United States at both union and non-union work sites.
